Comments: I work in a home health setting one of the agencies has a hospice service attached. Also, I am married to a Palliative Care NP/MSW so this is a topic that I am naturally interested in because of her profession. In a home health setting I may often be the first person to initiate questions or probe into suggesting initiating an end of life plan to ensure their desires are met. Very helpful. Thank you.

Comments: It was informative/refresher of things I had learned in my psychology classes in school. I was just looking more for a course, as a PTA, about ethically treating someone who we knew was at the end of life, or had hospice recommendations, etc.

Comments: This is a great course for all therapists but especially new to the profession therapists in understanding the dynamics of end of life from both patient and family perspective. It helps understanding the components first, in order to know how to approach it. Very informative, thanks.

Comments: This is a great course to build skills in assisting patients and caregivers that are affected by terminal illness.

Date: 2016-10-04 21:53:22
Comments: This is the best course I have taken. I am surprised by the relevant information that I did not expect to find here. This is an important course I hope many people take. I had misgivings about taking this course, and honestly I thought it would be boring, but I got so much information out of it. I will be recommending this course. I don't work with terminally ill patients, but I know I will have occasion that I might as well as in my own personal life decisions, and I feel better informed and able to assist others and my family when End of LIfe type situations occur. Thanks for this course.
